WHAT WE DO
M&S Lighting Services provides a lighting equipment consultancy and project application & design solution services for architects, lighting engineers, building services engineers, interior designers, contractors and building owners.
When you work with us we start by listening to your brief to fully understand your requirements. Once we have prepared the proposed design and/or luminaire selections an illustrated detailed specification and, where required, Bill of Quantities is often provided for the proposed lighting equipment on your project.
Complete project management through to final sign-off ensures that projects are delivered on time, in budget and achieve the technical performance, energy efficiency, maintenance and aesthetic requirements required.

ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Stuart Markham, my clients and friends know me as Stu or Stuee.
I started in the lighting industry in 1983 and during the next 23 years worked for OEM manufacturers as a projects engineer, technical sales director and marketing director.
With a passion for excellent lighting and the desire to work with multiple OEM manufacturers rather than being tied to just one I started M&S Lighting Services in 2006, incorporating in 2012.
This has taken me to practices and sites all over our country where I have been very fortunate to have worked on a fascinating range of projects of all sizes - from the refurbishment of one single room to major new construction projects.
I regularly meet with OEM lighting and component manufacturers to keep pace with the latest products, processes, concepts and trends.
I am married to a professional musician, we have five children between us. In my spare time I sing bass for a choir, coach and compete as a sprinter for an athletics club, enjoy cycling and riding my motorbike.
